Official Recognition

On June 20, 2010, ACSD SEISHINKAI CESENA, under the guidance of Sensei Marco Forti, has been recognized by the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society, through its Director - Patrick McCarthy, Hanshi 8th Dan - as an official Koryu Uchinadi shibu dojo.

Seishinkai Cesena - whose venue is the Sport Centre «Studio 524» located in Cesena, via Ravennate 524 -  is therefore the first Italian dojo where Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo-jutsu is officially practiced.

Following the IRKRS definition: as an Art, Koryu Uchinadi conditions the body, cultivates the mind and nurtures the spirit in an effort to improve health, its holistic purpose; be better prepared to protect oneself, its defensive application, build moral character, its social aim; discover and overcome the source human weakness, its philosophical nature; and finally, to know inner-peace, its spiritual essence.

I would like to express my warmest congratulations to Sensei Marco Forti and his Association for the goal achieved which will remain in the Italian Koryu Uchinadi history.
