The three parts of Hanshi Patrick McCarthy’s article "Siamese Boxing - The original source of Okinawa-te [Ti'gwa]?" - translated into Italian language by Marco Forti - have been published in the November 2011, December 2011 and January 2012 issues of «Samurai», widely known as Italy's premier martial arts magazine.

The International Ryukyu Karate Research Society has published the names of its 2011 Honour Roll recipients.
I should admit that I did not expect to find my name for the second year in this list and for this reason I would like to thanks my Sensei - Hanshi Patrick McCarthy - for his trust in me. I'm really touched!
KU Seminar in Parma - Reportage
A Koryu Uchinadi Seminar has been held in Parma (Italy) on December 3-4, 2011.
The scheduled program has allowed all participants to take advantage of nine training sessions (three for each group of belts), for a total of seventeen hours of practice!
The beginners group enjoyed shime waza (chokes and strangles techniques) training while the intermediates group was deepening the understanding of Uke waza / Quadrant drill (giving/receiving percussive impact techniques).
